SERVE
Serving allows us to make an impact in the local church while becoming more like Christ as we do. Volunteers serve an average of twice a month and are scheduled by team leaders. Team Radiant is committed to serving the Body of Christ with excellence. Each team member is expected to arrive early, prepared to serve others joyfully. We couldn’t accomplish our vision without the amazing volunteers of Radiant Church.
Serving Opportunities
Children’s Ministry
Pastor Sarah Schafer
We are discipling a generation to be captured by His Good News and filled with the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:18-20). We are partnering with families as they pass on the faith to their children, raising up a generation who are seeking the Kingdom first, growing in community, and engaged in mission.
Security Team
Mark Kirkpatrick
We focus on the safety and well-being of families and individuals during the worship service.
Youth Ministry
Our vision is to disciple & empower our students in the 7th-12th grades as image bearers to spread the love and truth of Christ throughout our city and beyond.
Facilities Team
Ann Naeyaert
Our primary focus is to keep God’s house tidy by cleaning every week. It is incredibly important for us to steward well what God has blessed us with.
Media Team
James Dupree
Our vision as a media team is to emphasize and capture the movement of God in the local body through production and other various forms of media outlets. The "why" behind our ministry is the desire to creatively serve and honor the Author of Creation Himself, while simultaneously creating a "front door" for the online world to see the testimonies of His power at Radiant Church Bay City.
Connections Ministry

Our goal is to create an environment where families and individuals can grow together in community through hospitality, gathering, and the study of God’s Word.
Five Six Ministry
Our vision is to build a Biblical foundation in the lives of 5th & 6th graders. We want to equip them in the most formative years of their lives to discern between the truth found in Scripture and the lies of culture.

We capture the heart of God and the Holy Spirit moving in and through Radiant Church. We work alongside of the Media Team as we creatively serve and honor God through the gifts He’s given us and aim to create a front door for others online to witness what God is doing in and through all areas here at Radiant Bay City.
Worship Team

We exist to create a distraction-free environment for people to encounter the presence of God. We do this through excellence, having a servant’s heart, and authenticity.
Ready to Serve?
One of our team leaders will contact you once you have completed your Team Radiant application. Next, you'll interview with the team leader to determine your next step. You’ll then shadow a current team member to train in your new position. Finally, if you and the leader feel like you’re a good fit, you will be scheduled to serve!
